Experience

MJ is a seasoned leadership facilitator and executive coach living in Geneva, Switzerland. She designs, delivers and manages leadership and coaching programs for executives and teams in multinational corporations and international organizations. Examples of MJ's recent design and delivery work include Living the Values, an 18-month leadership program for The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. She managed and delivered the first ever, coaching program for the World Health Organization. Components of this program included individual, team and group coaching, and the creation of a peer-coaching program. MJ regularly serves as a leadership facilitator and coach for Executive MBA Programs for such universities as Thunderbird School of Global Management, University of Lausanne and IE University. In Barcelona. She also serves as senior corporate faculty for the Coaches Training Institute (CTI).

MJ specialises in board level leadership, particularly strategic career management and navigating the political seas of organizational life. She does this by combining simulations and games with key leadership and coaching models to literally and figuratively move executives from limiting beliefs to widened perspectives and behavioural change. Individual clients are C-suite and Managing Director level executives as well as high potential leaders. MJ loves working across cultures and has coached more than 650 executives with over 100 nationalities.

Prior to her current career, MJ was a sales and marketing executive for over 20 years. MJ began her professional life on Wall Street with Bear Stearns & Co., and following her MBA moved to Paris to serve as an international marketing director for a Clinical Research Organization. On a personal note, MJ is an avid mindfulness practioner, and loves hiking and travel. She is married with two children and a dog.
