Experience
Coaching has always been the golden thread of Uzma’s 20 year plus career.
Uzma started her career in therapeutic communication, studying the mechanics of speech and language therapy at UCL. She moved into corporate communications, extending into change management and corporate transformations before becoming a Leadership Coach. The turning point was experiencing the Leadership Circle Profile which was the transformational turn in the road for Uzma.
She has coached international senior leaders in communication, storytelling and presentations internally and externally, created purposes for well-known companies, coached and consulted with Leadership Teams clarifying their vision and transformation for their divisions for around 10 years including for M&As and divestments.
Prior to coaching, Uzma has a 20 year proven-track record of delivering change and communications with well-known organisations across several industries from financial services to pharma and biotech sectors. She’s held trusting roles of responsibility including at Leadership team level. Her empathy and focus on people and relationships have helped to ensure that transformations are experienced in a human way rather than a mechanical change to be undergone.
Uzma runs her practice ‘Reflect to Act Coaching’ with a range of services for both international corporate and private 1:1 clients. A British expat, she lives with her husband on the French Swiss borders.
One Fact About Me
Outside of work Uzma loves to get out of her comfort zone. She’s flown a helicopter, jumped off cliffs into raging South American rapids and speeded down mountains on a pair of skis.
She believes that learning how to fail is as important as success.
